Disease and Disorder:

This collection of 60 4"x 4" watercolors was created as an assignment for a course in Esthetics, the business of skincare.  In 2010 I was preparing for an art exhibit, while working towards an estheticians license. Having limited time, I would sit at my kitchen table and paint several of these little pieces a day , fulfilling both assignments at once. It was strangely satisfiying and turned out to be one of my favorite series, despite it's somewhat macabre nature.
